How did this even get made?!

I’ve been a massage therapist for 15 years, specializing in prenatal and postpartum so I have made it my business to make pregnant bodies as comfortable, rested, relaxed and pain-free as possible. I found that 10/10 of them were severely unsupported and sleeping with cheap pregnancy pillows from China that have toxic warning labels! Our pillows are made by an organic textile maker in New Jersey.

How many of them were non-toxic or organic? ZERO.

How many of them were ergonomic? ZERO.

How many of them were customizable so the ergonomics actually suited their specific body dimensions? ZERO.

What makes it certified organic?

The only ingredient we use for our fabric and filling is 100% organic cotton.

What makes it ergonomic?

It minimizes stress, twisting, and pressure on the muscles and joints most commonly known to get angry during pregnancy and also for most side sleepers.  How does it do it? When customized by each user, the hip-knee-ankle sit on the same plane. Same for the shoulder-elbow-wrist. When these are properly supported they float and when they float, there’s no twisting of the spine and hips (cause of nerve impingement like sciatica). A pillow between the knees is not enough for most humans, sorry!

What makes it customizable?

Every pillow (and pillowcase) come a bit overstuffed and with zippers, so you can reach in anytime and take filling out or add it in from another pillow, shape it the way you like it, etc. (though we recommend doing this outside so you don’t get cotton lint in the air and create a dust/lint storm). We wanted to be as inclusive of all bodies as possible so we went big. Make it your own!
